At its core, massage therapy is hands on healthcare. More and more massage therapy consumers are integrating therapeutic massage and bodywork with their mainstream health regimen. Students within this program will develop assessment and treatment planning skills, applied techniques, an understanding of scope of practice, and critical thinking and ethical decision making. Students will have an understanding of how massage therapy directly and indirectly affects human anatomy, physiology, pathology and kinesiology, thereby allowing for safe and effective treatment.
