As you get settled into the fall semester, we want to support your wellbeing whenever you’re spending time on campus. Brightpoint is now offering later evening hours at our fitness centers, expanded food and beverage selections, and new student clubs and activities to keep you connected and entertained.

Extended Gym Opening Hours

Since we know how difficult it can be to squeeze in physical activity amid classes, work, and personal responsibilities, we’ve extended the opening hours at both of our fitness centers:

Chester Gym

  • Located in the Nicholas Center, N101, next to the Student Activities Office
  • New hours: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Monday – Friday

Midlothian Gym

  • Located in Trailblazer Hall, T105
  • New hours: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Monday – Friday

Our gyms are equipped with an array of strength training and cardio machines, so you can practice the types of healthy movement that bring you joy–and that fit into your packed schedule.

Micro Markets for On-the-Go Snacking

We’ve installed new Micro Markets in both Midlothian and Chester. These Micro Markets contain a variety of snacks and chilled beverages, as well as selections of fresh food. Micro Markets are open 24/7, and operate on a cashless basis–you can pay with your smart devices, debit, or credit cards.

Micro Market Locations

Chester Campus

  • Nicholas Student Center – Located in front of the CCWA offices

  • Moyar Hall – Located near the Security desk on the first floor

Discover a New Community

To help you find a community that aligns with your passions, we encourage you to explore the various student clubs and activities available at the college. This fall, returning clubs as well as new organizations will be holding meetings. We’ve also organized many fun activities for you to participate in throughout the semester.
