Auditions: Alice by Heart

Audition for Brightpoint's production of Alice by Heart! Email theatreinfo@brightpoint.edu to sign up for an audition.
Please prepare an approximately one-minute comedic storytelling monologue, and 16-32 bars of a contemporary song (musical theatre is preferred) that showcases your vocal strengths and abilities. An accompanying track on a smartphone or similar device is preferred, but a capella is permissible.
Callbacks will take place from 12:30 - 5:00 p.m. on January 25, after auditions end.
Production runs March 21 – 30, 2025. Rehearsals will begin on January 29, and take place during weekday evenings and some weekend days.
About the Play
In the rubble of the London Blitz of World War II, Alice Spencer’s budding teen life is turned upside down, and she and her dear friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. When the ailing Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.
Directed by Foster Solomon, Alice by Heart is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
