Bus Service
- GRTC Route 3B serves our Chester Campus. Currently, GRTC buses are zero fare.
- Petersburg Area Transit’s (PAT) Route 3 Richmond Express serves our Chester Campus with a bus stop on Weir Road near the Nicholas Center (same location as GRTC’s stop). The bus runs Monday – Saturday except on holidays as advertised on PAT’s website. Also on PAT’s website is more information about the Route 3 Richmond Express, including a list of its stops, its schedule, and a link to an app that provides riders with real-time bus locations and estimated times of arrival.

December 9: Change in Operations
Due to the weather, on Tuesday, December 9, the college will be operating remotely until at least 5:00 p.m. Students scheduled to take an on-campus exam before 5:00 p.m. should monitor their student emails and Canvas for information from their professors. Any exams already scheduled to take place remotely will continue as scheduled. College services and offices will be remote. On Tuesday, the college will continue to monitor the weather, road, and campus conditions to determine if Brightpoint campuses can open for evening classes (classes that start at 5:30 p.m. or after). An announcement about evening hours will be made by 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
