Event Information:
Brightpoint is collaborating with the United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg to hold a Tax Day at our Chester and Midlothian Campus Libraries. The Midlothian Tax Day will be located in the Midlothian Campus Library, Hamel Hall, H202k.
Your Options for Tax Day
- If you have a household income of $67,000 or below, you can have your taxes prepared by an IRS-certified tax preparer, free of charge. You must bring your driver's license/ID, social security card, and any tax documents.
- If you have a household income of $84,000 or below, you can learn to prepare and file your own taxes using free software and live coaching from IRS-certified volunteers on site. You must have your prior year adjusted gross income (AGI) ready to be able to file the return electronically. This service is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Services are available to students, faculty, staff, and community members.
