Building Resilience Is a Community Endeavor: Peer Recovery
Event Information:
Join the Chesterfield Suicide Awareness and Prevention Coalition for our annual professional and community training event. This year’s event will focus on the important role of peer support workers. Through shared understanding, respect, and mutual empowerment, peer support workers help people become and stay engaged in the recovery process and reduce the likelihood of relapse. Representatives from a variety of peer organizations will share their experiences, provide education about how to access resources, and lead participants through wellness activities.
Register for the event by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025.
