General Studies, AS
This two-year degree prepares students to transfer to a four-year college who may be unsure of their intended major.
Students will learn to evaluate information, ideas, and arguments from relevant perspectives; demonstrate civic engagement; communicate effectively with others; work as part of a team; interpret data; and show knowledge of the scientific method.

September 4 and September 7
On Friday, September 4, most college offices will close at 12:00 p.m. However, all scheduled Brightpoint and CCWA classes will be held as normal, the Testing Centers will be open for those with scheduled tests, and already-scheduled events and activities will be held as planned. On Monday, September 7, the college will be closed for Labor Day.
