Architectural Engineering Technology, AAS
Students will create working drawings for a residence and commercial building using computer-aided design software; perform basic topography surveys; perform tests on soil, concrete and steel construction materials; evaluate a building for code compliance and use surveying equipment. This degree has options for transfer to complete a bachelor’s degree at Old Dominion University. This degree is offered at the Chester Campus.

December 8: Change in Operations
Due to the weather, Brightpoint Community College will be operating remotely Monday, December 8. Buildings on campuses will be closed. No services or activities will be held on campus.
On-campus exams scheduled for December 8, will be rescheduled. Students should monitor their email and Canvas for updates from their professors. Exams already scheduled to occur remotely will take place as planned.
