Guaranteed Admissions Agreements
Brightpoint maintains guaranteed admissions agreements with over 35 colleges and universities in Virginia and beyond. As long as students meet course, GPA and other requirements, they can transfer to continue their education.
▸A range of transfer tools and resources are available for your use on the Transfer VA website, to include transfer guides, course equivalencies, and information about possible credit for prior learning. Also, Brightpoint’s Uniform Certificate of General Studies, developed in conjunction with Transfer VA, is comprised of transfer courses that will satisfy lower-division general education requirements at any public institution of higher education in Virginia.
Your faculty advisor will be happy to meet with you to discuss your transfer plans, and colleges and universities regularly visit Brightpoint’s campuses to meet with prospective transfer students.

Winter Break: December 24, 2025 – January 2, 2026
The college will be on Winter Break, from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Friday, January 2, 2026. During Winter Break, the campuses will be closed, and there will be no on-campus classes or services. Some remote services will be available. Information on these services and how to connect to them are outlined in our news section. Registration for Spring 2026 classes will continue online during Winter Break. Current students may sign up and pay for their classes through their SIS account in myBrightpoint. Our campuses will reopen on January 5, 2026.
