John Tyler Community College to Hold a Virtual Part-Time Job and Internship Fair

CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Job seekers searching for part-time employment or looking for ways to explore careers through internships are invited to participate in John Tyler Community College’s upcoming Part-Time Job and Internship Fair. The event, hosted by Tyler’s Career Services Office, takes place online from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on September 10, 2020. During the job fair, attendees will be able to connect directly with local employers through live chat, watch videos, take virtual tours, and download brochures that highlight available positions.
There is no charge to participate in the Part-Time Job and Internship Fair, but those interested in attending must register by 5:00 p.m. on September 9. Registrants will be emailed a web link that will allow them to access the event.

John Tyler Community College offers more than 75 majors that provide pathways to careers in high-demand fields; transfer opportunities to four-year colleges and universities; and industry credentials and licensures. The college, with campuses in Chester and Midlothian, online classes, and off-campus classrooms, served more than 13,600 students during the 2019-20 academic year. It also assisted more than 9,000 learners through its workforce development division, Community College Workforce Alliance, a partnership between Tyler and Reynolds community colleges.
