Reflections: A Time For Recognition
Event Information:
Visit the Brightpoint Gallery during Black History Month to view Audrey Ross' exhibition, "Reflections: A Time For Recognition." The exhibition will highlight the rich history of our local African American community from enslavement to the present. This includes the Midlothian mines (a local landmark), which produced the first commercial coal in North America. Historical pictures, vintage clothing, and tools from early African-American-owned businesses are just a few of the treats in store for visitors.
