Early Childhood, CSC
This one-year program prepares students for jobs in education, working with young children (birth to age eight) in preschools, elementary schools, child-care centers, and before- and after-school programs.
Students will learn to create supportive and challenging learning environments; observe and assess development; and implement a range of instructional strategies for individual children. The program includes a practicum, allowing students to spend time observing and working in a school setting.
