Energy Technology Certificate
This one-year, hands-on program prepares students to be energy technology technicians.
Students will install electro-mechanical components and be able to perform alignment, calibration, and maintenance procedures and troubleshoot malfunctions. This program is offered at the Chester Campus.

Career Paths
Technicians help design, or assemble, install, maintain, and repair geothermal, solar, or wind turbines systems, or work as power plant operators, distributors, and dispatchers who control the systems that generate and distribute electric power.

Chester Library Closed
The Chester Library will be closed through July 1 due to a water leak. Those who need library services may continue to use the Library at the Midlothian Campus or access Library resources, including the Chat with a Librarian service, online. Students scheduled to pick up a library laptop should go to the Security desk in Moyar (near the Help Hub).
