Radiologic Technology, AAS
This two-year degree prepares students for a job as a radiologic technologist.
Students will learn to use radiation to produce images of the body to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating injuries or diseases. Competency will be demonstrated in principles of radiologic sciences, patient care, procedures, imaging, and radiation protection. Students will gain hands-on practical experience as part of the program curriculum.

Career Paths
Jobs in this field include working as a Registered Technologist in Radiography, R.T.(ARRT) in hospitals, imaging centers, free-standing emergency departments, urgent care centers, medical offices, and/or mobile imaging. Advancement into specialty areas is possible with additional experience and/or education.
