Teacher Education, AS
This two-year degree prepares students to transfer to a four-year college and major in elementary education (kindergarten – sixth grade).
Students will learn about the history of education and human development; create lesson plans; communicate effectively; and problem solve. The program includes a practicum, allowing students to spend time observing and working in a school setting.

Chester Library Closed
The Chester Library will be closed through July 1 due to a water leak. Those who need library services may continue to use the Library at the Midlothian Campus or access Library resources, including the Chat with a Librarian service, online. Students scheduled to pick up a library laptop should go to the Security desk in Moyar (near the Help Hub).
