Brightpoint Community College to Hold Smart Start Saturday Event

CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Finding time to enroll in college can be challenging, especially for students who are trying to balance family and job responsibilities with school. That’s why Brightpoint Community College is holding Smart Start Saturday, an event designed to streamline the enrollment process and provide personalized assistance to students. Smart Start Saturday will take place August 9, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., in the college’s Chester Campus Help Hub, located in Moyar Hall, room M101. At the event, attendees can get one-on-one assistance with applying to Brightpoint, registering for classes, changing majors, applying for financial aid, submitting transcripts, determining English and math placement, and more. Tours will also be available for those who want to get familiar with the Chester Campus and its resources. Smart Start Saturday is open to all new and returning students.
