CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Finding time for college while juggling a job, family and other responsibilities can be challenging. Brightpoint Community College can help. On July 27, 2024, at the Midlothian Campus, and August 17, 2024, at the Chester Campus, the college is holding Smart Start Saturday events. Smart Start Saturday is designed to help busy students streamline the tasks associated with enrolling in college. On these days, students can come to campus and meet one-on-one with an advisor who can discuss best-fit majors, provide information about the college’s flexible class scheduling options, and help with course selection. Expert guidance will also be available for those who want to learn about or apply for financial aid. And, staff will be on hand to explain payment plans and options to manage tuition costs, as well as support available to help students succeed.

Smart Start Saturday events will take place in the Brightpoint Help Hub:
