Brightpoint to Hold a Childcare Networking Symposium

Childcare providers are invited to participate in an upcoming symposium being held at Brightpoint Community College.

September 26
8:30 am. – 12:00 p.m. (Continental breakfast served at 8:30 a.m. Event begins at 9:00 a.m.)
Chester Campus
Nicholas Center, room N102

During the event: 

  • Katrina Bailey, College Attainment for Parent Students Program (CAPS) coach and student parent participants will present information on student parent childcare experiences. The presentation will include a student panel and time for providers to ask questions.
  • Pradnya Patet, Brightpoint’s early childhood education program head, will discuss certificate and degree options in the program, as well as opportunities for childcare providers to partner with the program.
  • There will be an open discussion on various childcare topics, including the future of childcare in our community.
  • A tour of Brightpoint’s early childhood lab classroom and library space will be given.
  • Participants will have the opportunity to network.
