January 7, 2025 – Change in College Operations
Due to the weather, Brightpoint will providing services remotely on Tuesday, January 7. Buildings on campus will be closed.
On January 7:
- Students may continue to register and pay for spring classes online through SIS in the myBrightpoint portal.
- Those interested in applying to the college may do so online by clicking on the “Apply Now” button on the Brightpoint homepage.
- The Help Hub will be offering assistance via phone, text and email from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. It will also be offering special drop-in advising via Zoom from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 – 6:30 p.m.
- The New Student Orientation session scheduled to take place January 7 at the Midlothian Campus has been cancelled. Find other New Student Orientation options.
December 5: Change in Operations
Due to the weather, Brightpoint Community College will be operating remotely Friday, December 5. Buildings on campuses will be closed. No classes, services or activities will be held on campus, and the Scholarship Celebration Luncheon scheduled for December 5 has been cancelled.
Students who are scheduled to have on-campus classes on Friday should check Canvas and their student email for updates from their instructors. Students who are scheduled to test on campus in the Testing Center should reschedule their test in Register Blast or contact the Testing Center via email for assistance. Virtual testing appointments will be held as planned.
