CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Starting on November 8, 2024, the curtain goes up on The Lynn Theatre’s production of John Proctor is the Villain. The show is set at a rural high school in Georgia, where a group of lively teens studying The Crucible begin looking at the American classic through a contemporary lens and start questioning who is really the hero of the story. Through this process, they discover their own power. Alternately touching and bitingly funny, this new comedy captures a generation in mid-transformation, running on pop music, optimism, and fury, writing their own coming-of-age story.
