The Lynn Theatre Brings WillJee to the Stage

CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – The curtain is about to rise on WillJee, a new comedy being presented at The Lynn Theatre. The performance follows Will, who, when faced with the impending death of his younger sister, realizes he must do something to stop it. With a little help from the statue of St. Francis and possibly something he ingests, he connects with a miraculous power inside him that can heal his sister, but it may cost him.
WillJee is intended for mature audiences. Performances will take place at The Lynn Theatre:
- January 24 at 7:00 p.m.
- January 25 at 7:00 p.m.
- January 26 at 2:00 p.m. Talkback with the playwright to follow.
- January 30 at 7:00 p.m.
- January 31 at 7:00 p.m.
- February 1 at 7:00 p.m.
- February 2 at 2:00 p.m. Talkback with the playwright to follow.
- February 5 at 7:00 p.m.
- February 6 at 7:00 p.m.

WillJee is written by M Mary Sullivan and directed by Kerrigan Sullivan. It is the third production in The Lynn Theatre’s Studio Series, which is designed to foster the creation and performance of new works and facilitate community-based collaborative artmaking. WillJee was developed in the Pipeline New Works Fellowship Program by Cadence Theatre Company, a playwriting cohort led by David Lindsay-Abaire, a Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, screenwriter, lyricist, and librettist.
