Micro Markets
The college has Micro Markets on each campus. The Markets will provide a variety of snacking options, cold beverages, and grab and go fresh food selections.
The Micro Markets provide 24/7 convenience and operate on a cashless basis. Payment can be made via debit, credit, or smart device.
You can find the Micro Markets in these locations:
Chester Campus
1. Nicholas Center/Talley Workforce Center – near CCWA offices
2. Moyar Hall – first floor, near the Security desk
Midlothian Campus
1. Trailblazer Hall – first floor lobby, near the elevators
2. Eliades – first floor, near the Art Gallery
3. Hamel – first floor, near the bookstore and student lounge
Food Pantry
Students who need additional support with sourcing meals can access the food pantries located on either Brightpoint campus. Pantries contain non-perishable food items and some ready-to-eat options.
Food Trucks
Watch the college calendar for upcoming days and times food trucks will be on campus.
Microwaves
Brightpoint supplies microwaves for students to heat food brought from home. Microwaves are available in Hamel Hall Room H107 on the Midlothian Campus and in Moyar Hall on the Chester Campus.
Off Campus Options
Both campus locations are near fast food restaurants and grocery stores where food can be purchased. Some restaurants also deliver to campus.
Winter Break: December 24, 2025 – January 2, 2026
The college will be on Winter Break, from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Friday, January 2, 2026. During Winter Break, the campuses will be closed, and there will be no on-campus classes or services. Some remote services will be available. Information on these services and how to connect to them are outlined in our news section. Registration for Spring 2026 classes will continue online during Winter Break. Current students may sign up and pay for their classes through their SIS account in myBrightpoint. Our campuses will reopen on January 5, 2026.
