Student Assistance Fund
The Assistance Fund supports Brightpoint students who are facing a short-term financial difficulty that could prevent them from continuing their education.
At Brightpoint, our vision is a success story for every student. We understand that the ability to achieve success in the classroom can be impacted by an unexpected financial challenge. The Student Assistance Fund, created by and supported with gifts to the Brightpoint Community College Foundation, helps students stay on the path for success in and out of the classroom.
How to Apply
Students can apply to the Assistance Fund online or can download the application and turn it in to the Dean of Students Office.
The Office of the Dean of Students will make every effort to contact the student about his/her application request within two business days.
December 9: Change in Operations
Due to the weather, on Tuesday, December 9, the college will be operating remotely until at least 5:00 p.m. Students scheduled to take an on-campus exam before 5:00 p.m. should monitor their student emails and Canvas for information from their professors. Any exams already scheduled to take place remotely will continue as scheduled. College services and offices will be remote. On Tuesday, the college will continue to monitor the weather, road, and campus conditions to determine if Brightpoint campuses can open for evening classes (classes that start at 5:30 p.m. or after). An announcement about evening hours will be made by 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
