Spring Break 2024 – College Services

Brightpoint’s Spring Break will take place the week of April 1. During that week, there will be no classes, but the college will be open. 

At the Chester Campus, Moyar Hall will be closed Spring Break week for scheduled maintenance. Offices normally located in that building will be temporarily relocated or their services will only be offered on the Midlothian Campus.

Help Hub: 
The Help Hub at Chester will still be available remotely, but if you want to come to campus to get assistance, please go to the Nicholas Center. Help Hub staff will be in rooms N132, N135, and N137 during Spring Break. The Help Hub at Midlothian (Trailblazer Hall, room T115) will also be available to assist you. Financial Aid: 
At Chester and Midlothian, you can connect to financial aid advisors through the Help Hub. The Financial Aid Office on both campuses will be closed April 3.

Cashier's Office: 
The Cashier's Office at both campuses will be closed April 3.

Testing Center: 
The Chester Testing Center will be closed. The Midlothian Testing Center will be open Monday and Wednesday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Midlothian Testing Center will be closed Tuesday, April 2.

Military & Veteran's Education Office:
The Military & Veteran's Education Office will be closed April 3.

Library: 
The library at Chester will be closed due to the Moyar Hall Maintenance. The library at the Midlothian Campus will be open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. You can also continue to access the library’s virtual resources 24/7, including our Ask-A-Librarian service.

Academic Resource Center (ARC): 
The ARC at both campuses will be closed for Spring Break. Students can use Brainfuse during this time. Information about Brainfuse may be found on our tutoring web page. 

Arts Humanities and Social Sciences Division Office: 
The division office at the Chester Campus, in Moyar Hall will be closed. Students can contact the division by calling the Midlothian Campus office at 804-594-1509 or emailing AHSS@brightpoint.edu.
 
Math Science, Health and Human Services Division Office: 
The division office at the Chester Campus, in Moyar Hall, will be closed. Students can contact the division by calling the Midlothian Campus office at 804-594-1500 or emailing MSHHS@brightpoint.edu.

Bookstore
The bookstore at both campuses will be closed during Spring Break with the exception of Tuesday, April 2 when the Chester store will be open 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 4 when the Midlothian store will be open 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
