Social Sciences Research Expo
Submit your project to the 2023 Social Sciences Research Expo. Research from any Brightpoint course from the fall 2022 and spring 2023 semesters is eligible. All submissions must be received by April 21, 2023.
Students will creatively summarize and present your research on a tri-fold display on April 25th from 11am to 3:30pm in the Trailblazer Hall lobby (Midlothian campus). You will receive more information once you submit your research summary.
There will be awards/prizes for the top three projects, as voted on by a panel of judges as well as the public.
The Research Expo requires you to include the following on your tri-fold display:
- Topic/thesis statement/question
- Variables and Hypothesis (if applicable)
- Brief summary of Research (method/findings/data)
- Conclusions/Application
- Graphics and/or creativity
How to Enter:
You must fill out a submission form to enter your research project in the Research Expo. Any research from fall 2022 and spring 2023 semesters, regardless of course, is eligible. Even if you haven't received a grade for your research, you may still submit it for the Expo.
