New Student Orientation

Welcome to Brightpoint!

New Student Orientation is designed to introduce you to life at Brightpoint. You’ll learn how Brightpoint supports its students and facilitates your success, both in and out of the classroom. Find out about:

New Student Orientation is mandatory for all newly enrolled first-time college students. Students are welcome to bring parents or other guests for support. However, students and guests will be separated for much of the event.

Spring 2027 Orientation Sessions

Midlothian Campus Session

  • January 5, 5:30 - 8:45 p.m.

Chester Campus Session

  • January 6, 5:30 - 8:45 p.m.

Virtual Orientation Webinar via Zoom 

  • January 7, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

The virtual New Student Orientation option is intended for students taking exclusively virtual classes. Students who attend an in person session on either campus do not need to attend the webinar.

Review Orientation Sessions: Canvas Modules

All students, on campus or online, may access the Orientation Canvas course to review information covered at New Student Orientation. You can find this course in the myBrightpoint Canvas app once you have enrolled for your other courses. Simply log into Canvas and click on the New Student Orientation tile.
