Internship Funding Program: Apply for a Stipend
Fall 2026 students who will be participating in an unpaid internship now have the opportunity to receive funding to help cover their expenses.

Starting an unpaid internship in Fall 2026? You could receive a stipend from Brightpoint to help cover your living expenses.
The new Internship Funding Program from Career Services provides qualifying students with funding to support them while they participate in an unpaid internship.
In order to qualify for funding, you will need to meet certain requirements and complete an application form.
Preliminary requirements:
- Must live in a household whose total income falls below the eligibility threshold (see Income Guideline Chart on G3 page)
- Must be a current Brightpoint student enrolled in a Brightpoint degree or certificate program, or in a CCWA program
- Must have completed at least one semester/course
- Must be currently enrolled in a Fall 2026 course
- Must have at least been invited to interview for the specific internship you would like to receive funding for
To complete the application, you will also need the following:
- Verification from the organization you will be interning with, which could include:
- An email from a Human Resources or staff member of the organization, inviting you to interview with them
- An email confirmation of your scheduled interview with the organization
- A copy of the internship offer letter
- Two 500-word essays (review essay prompts and grading rubric)
If you are seeking funding for the Fall 2026 semester, you must complete the form by July 1, 2026.
Internship funding is not currently available to incoming students (those in their first semester), students graduating in Spring 2026, or alumni.
