At Brightpoint, we're here for you every step of the way. Here are your advising team members:

New Student Navigator

When you apply to Brightpoint, you’ll be assigned a new student navigator within 1-2 days of application.  After your new student navigator is assigned to you, you’ll hear from them within 2-3 business days via text and email about setting up a time to meet.

Your new student navigator can help you:

  • Apply to Brightpoint
  • Declare a major
  • Register for your first semester of classes
  • Be ready for your first day of class

You’ll work with your new student navigator through the first week of classes during your first semester. Then, you’ll transition to working with either a faculty advisor or Help Hub advisor.

Faculty Advisor 

When you declare a major, you will be assigned a faculty advisor who has expertise in your chosen major. Tap into this expert assistance.

Your faculty advisor can help you:

  • Choose classes and plan your schedule each semester
  • Map out a path to graduation
  • Explore career and transfer opportunities 
  • Connect with additional resources and opportunities at Brightpoint and beyond
  • Apply for graduation

You will work with your faculty advisor as long as you stay in your chosen major. Starting your first semester, your advisor will periodically reach out to you via email and text.

Reach out to your advisor any time you have questions or need help, and be sure to meet with your faculty advisor each semester to plan for the upcoming semester. Find your advisor’s contact information in EAB Navigate or the Student Information System in myBrightpoint.

Help Hub Advisor

If you have not declared a major, you will work with a Help Hub advisor after working with your new student navigator. Help Hub advisors can help you:

  • Choose classes and plan your schedule
  • Declare a major
  • Explore career and transfer opportunities 
  • Connect with resources at Brightpoint and beyond

Help Hub advisors can help all students with changing a major and general questions.
