Frequently Asked Questions about Concurrent Pipeline Courses

School divisions are responsible for transporting students to and from campus.  All concurrent enrollment courses are scheduled Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Brightpoint provides reasonable accommodations to afford students with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in the college’s programs, courses, and activities. Concurrent Pipeline students with disabilities who require accommodations must disclose their need for accommodations to Disability Support Services (DSS) and follow DSS procedures to establish and use accommodations.

In compliance with FERPA, faculty members and other college personnel will not talk with a parent without the permission of and presence of the student. The conversation is between the administrator/ faculty member and the student. If a parent or family member has a question about their student, they should contact the high school counseling department.

Grades are communicated with the high school counseling department and are indicated on the student’s regular student grade report.

Students must communicate directly with their instructors if they are unable to attend a class. This information is also outlined in your course syllabus.

Concurrent enrollment students will follow Brightpoint’s academic calendar. In the case of inclement weather, if either the school district or Brightpoint is closed, students will not report to classes on campus.
