Post Jobs and Internships
Employers seeking candidates can create an account and post opportunities in about 10 minutes through our online recruiting platform. Handshake is available to and used by Brightpoint students and alumni. Handshake allows employers to post the following types of opportunities:

Virginia Employer Readiness Toolkit
The Virginia Employer Readiness Toolkit is a comprehensive document to aid the employer community in building and expanding internship and work-based learning opportunities for higher education students throughout the Commonwealth. The readiness toolkit provides information and key resources to employers as they consider implementing these programs either at their place of work or remotely. The toolkit helps employers with their readiness for interns to ensure quality of the experience for students, institutions, and businesses.

Winter Break: December 24, 2025 – January 2, 2026
The college will be on Winter Break, from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Friday, January 2, 2026. During Winter Break, the campuses will be closed, and there will be no on-campus classes or services. Some remote services will be available. Information on these services and how to connect to them are outlined in our news section. Registration for Spring 2026 classes will continue online during Winter Break. Current students may sign up and pay for their classes through their SIS account in myBrightpoint. Our campuses will reopen on January 5, 2026.
