Career Fair - Midlothian
All students, alumni, and community members are encouraged to attend this career fair! Employers from the region will be on campus to share information about opportunities and recruit candidates for positions in a wide range of fields and industries. The focus will be on internships and part-time jobs, but some employers may also have full-time positions available. Please dress professionally and bring copies of your resume to share. Attendees can also get a free professional headshot taken.
AI for Good Hackathon
The AI for Good Hackathon is a 24-hour hackathon to develop AI-powered solutions for real organizational challenges facing Boys to Men Mentoring Virginia, a local nonprofit.
Teams will develop their solutions and then present them to a panel of nonprofit and business leaders.
This event is beginner-friendly and no coding experience is required. It's a great opportunity to work on a project that you can talk about in future job interviews.

During this event, hosted by Student Activities, you'll have the opportunity to connect with student clubs and organizations, college staff and departments who provide services to students, and more. Food trucks, ice cream and snacks will be available.
At the Midlothian Campus, Brightpoint Connect will take place in the courtyard between Hamel Hall and Trailblazer Hall.
Fall Fest
Free and open to the community. Trick-or-treat trail, games, crafts, haunted house, DJ, face painting and more!
This event is sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and Theatre Club.

Get ready for ExpressFest 2026, an event showcasing our students' talents through a speech contest, student film showcase, and spoken word poetry slam! The event is free and open to the community.
