The Brightpoint Libraries are available via text and online chat Monday - Friday.
Chat services are available 24/7; however, you can connect directly with the Brightpoint Libraries staff during the following times:
Monday – Thursday: 12 – 4 p.m.
Outside of these hours, texts will be answered the next business day. After the Brightpoint staff hours, chat librarians may be with the VCCS or other academic institutions. If they are unable to assist, follow-up tickets will be sent to the Brightpoint Libraries.

myBrightpoint Login Issues
We are currently experiencing technical issues affecting the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) login process, and this could prevent some users from accessing myBrightpoint, Canvas, and student email. The multi-factor authentication (MFA) method involving email is impacted. While work continues to resolve the issue, anyone who uses email MFA will need to switch to a different MFA method. If you are unable to access your account to make that change, text 804-476-0401.
