A great way to get involved at Brightpoint is by joining a club, interest group, or an intramural sports team! If you are interested in joining a club or organization, please feel free to email a club leader or sponsor. All Brightpoint students are welcome to join any club.  Check the weekly Student Activities newsletter for updated meeting times.

Student Clubs

Anime Club

In the past, the Anime Club has attended Comicon conventions.

Art Club

Advisors: Colin Ferguson and Paula Winn

Provides students in the visual arts program as well as students, faculty, staff and the greater community exposure to the arts in all forms. Art Club meets Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. on the Midlothian Campus in Eliades Hall, Room E307.

Business Club

Advisors: Sarah Huss and Mariah Dar

A place for business-related majors and those interested in general entrepreneurship to network while connecting with transfer resources, Brightpoint alumni, field-specific volunteer opportunities, and local businesses.

Chess Club

Advisors: Scott Meredith and Herman West

Meetings take place on the Wednesdays from 3:15 - 5:00 p.m. in Room T209 and Thursdays from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. in Room T218 at the Midlothian Campus. Meetings at the Chester Campus take place on Mondays from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Nicholas Center Student Lounge.

Ready to Radiate Club

We are looking for Brightpoint students interested in competitive esports gaming! We're currently playing League of Legends, Valorant, Smash Bros, Counter Strike 2, Tekken 8, and Marvel Rivals (plus other games, if interest is shown). No matter your current skill level, we are here to help you practice and improve your game! Our general focus is on finding individuals who are passionate about competing and ready to kickstart or grow their esports career. 

Esports club meets weekly on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. in the Esports Arena on the Midlothian campus in Hamel Hall room H204.
