High School and Homeschool Programs
Brightpoint offers several specialized options for high school and homeschool students interested in college courses.
Concurrent Enrollment
Concurrently enrolled students take Brightpoint courses prior to their high school graduation. Students may be enrolled as juniors or seniors at local high schools or be homeschooled. Students who qualify for concurrent enrollment can take classes on the Midlothian Campus, Chester Campus or online.
Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment courses are Brightpoint courses that are offered in local high schools. Students earn college credit, as well as credit for the course at their high school.
Concurrent Pipeline Courses
Concurrent Pipeline courses are Brightpoint courses that are taught at Brightpoint's Chester Campus. Students earn college credit toward a career studies certificate in a career-technical field, as well as credit for the course at their high school.
College and Career Ready Virginia (CCRV)
College and Career Ready Virginia (CCRV) is a program that allows qualified dual enrollment students to earn their Uniform Certificate of General Studies (UCGS) or Passport for free.
