The Dean of Students Office provides leadership and oversight for student support services, including:

- Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (DFSCA)
- Brightpoint Freedom of Speech/Expressive Activity Policy
- VCCS Freedom of Speech/Expressive Activity Policy
- Food Pantry
- Human Trafficking Awareness Training: Find out how to spot, report, and prevent trafficking.
- Pregnant and New Parent Student Support
- Reporting Child/Minor Abuse or Neglect
- Sexual Misconduct (Title IX)
- Single Stop: A one-stop shop for students to get connected to resources that will help them reach financial security. Students can get screened for multiple government benefits and local community resources, receive assistance accessing those benefits, and follow up to make sure they are successful.

Winter Break: December 24, 2025 – January 2, 2026
The college will be on Winter Break, from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Friday, January 2, 2026. During Winter Break, the campuses will be closed, and there will be no on-campus classes or services. Some remote services will be available. Information on these services and how to connect to them are outlined in our news section. Registration for Spring 2026 classes will continue online during Winter Break. Current students may sign up and pay for their classes through their SIS account in myBrightpoint. Our campuses will reopen on January 5, 2026.
